Overview

The Talent Acquisition Intern will provide entry level talent acquisition services to ensure Sundt is hiring the absolute best emerging talent in the industry while building our college recruiting pipeline. In addition, you will proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and serve as a trusted advisor to assist internal customers in the execution and planning of hiring strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for recruitment, superb customer service, and long term interest in Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities

  1. Works closely with internal customers to develop college talent acquisition strategies that meet or exceed expectations.
  2. Build relationships with targeted universities, assist with relocation/housing coordination of summer interns, and guide candidates through full life cycle of college recruitment process.
  3. Work with division managers to understand pipeline depth needed in order to determine workforce plan as it relates to internship/co-op opportunities.
  4. Effectively sources qualified active and passive college candidates using creative sourcing strategies.
  5. Acts as the trusted advisor in supporting hiring managers on the processes, interviewing techniques and best practices to ensure the experience is successful and effective for all parties.
  6. Delivers the highest quality candidates while advancing the Sundt brand across numerous markets and professional communities.
  7. Cultivates external relationships with industry organizations, vendors, etc. to develop referral networks and be best positioned to respond timely to rapid hiring needs.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 1 to 4 years of customer service experience.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in progress (preferably in communications or marketing).
  3. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Physical Requirements

  1. Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day
  2. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
  3. Will lift, push or pull objects on an occasional basis
  4. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
  5. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
  6. Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day
  7. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
